Your footage stays here

Spinto has no server. Your ride file, your clips and your finished reel never leave your device — nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to delete anything from.

What Spinto asks your phone for

Photo library, read access — to find the clips you shot during a ride, by matching their timestamps against your ride file. Spinto reads nothing outside that time window, and reads nothing at all until you start adding media to a ride.

Photo library, add access — to save your finished reel once you export it. This adds the one video Spinto writes; it does not read your library to do it.

Location, indirectly — Spinto does not access your device's location. It reads the coordinates already recorded in your ride file (from your GPS device or app) to look up a place name for the ride, such as the name of a climb.

What leaves your device

Two coordinates from your ride file, sent to Apple's own Maps service so Spinto can name your ride after a real place. That request goes through Apple's framework over Apple's own connection — Spinto has no server of its own to send it through, and never sees or stores the result anywhere but on your phone.

Nothing else, unless you connect Strava (below). No clip, no photo, no ride file, no telemetry and no exported reel is ever uploaded, by Spinto or to Spinto.

If you connect Strava

Connecting is optional. You sign in on Strava's own page; Spinto never sees your password. Strava gives the app a token, which is kept in this device's keychain and nowhere else.

With it Spinto asks Strava, directly from your phone, for the list of your activities and for the recorded data of the ride you pick. It only reads — nothing is written to your Strava account — and what it reads stays on this device. Disconnecting in Settings revokes the token and deletes it.

Purchases

Spinto Pro is bought through Apple. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether you hold Pro; Spinto never sees your name, your card or your Apple Account.

What Spinto does not do

No Spinto account, no advertising identifier. No analytics and no crash reporting — nothing about how you use the app is collected or sent anywhere. No third-party SDK of any kind is built into the app.

Deleting your data

Deleting a ride in Spinto deletes its file, its clip selections and its overlay on your phone immediately — there is nothing on a server to also delete, because there is no server. Deleting the app deletes everything Spinto ever wrote. Reels you already saved to your Photos library are yours and stay there.

These pages set no cookies and load nothing from anyone else. They run one script, the page-view counter of the company that hosts them (Vercel Web Analytics): it counts visits without cookies and does not follow you to other sites. The host also keeps ordinary server logs (the address a request came from and what it asked for), as every web host does.
