Help with Spinto
Write to support@spinto.app. A person reads it. Saying which camera and which bike computer you use saves a round of questions.
Which ride file should I use?
If your computer can export a .fit, use it — it carries speed and barometric altitude that a .gpx does not. A .tcx sits between the two. All three work, and Spinto shows what it found in the file before you go on.
My elevation gain is lower than on my head unit
A FIT file states the device's own total ascent and Spinto uses that number. A GPX states none, so Spinto computes it from the track, and that usually reads a little under what the device showed. Importing the FIT of the same ride fixes it.
Spinto found no clips for my ride
Spinto looks in your photo library for clips shot between the start and the end of the ride file. If your camera's clock was wrong, or the clips came in later, browse the full library and pick them yourself.
A clip sits in the wrong place on the route
Action cameras often write local time as if it were UTC, which puts every clip an hour or two out. Drag one clip to where it was shot and the rest from that camera follow.
A clip has no time at all
Exported or re-encoded files often lose the moment they were shot. Share the original from your camera's app or from Photos, not an edited or exported copy.
Strava
Connecting Strava is optional and read-only. Strava does not hand out the original file, so Spinto rebuilds the ride from Strava's recorded streams; a FIT from your head unit carries more. Disconnect in Settings at any time.
Pro, restoring and refunds
Pro is bought in the app, on the export sheet. On a new phone, tap Restore purchases on the same sheet. The yearly plan is managed, and cancelled, in your Apple Account settings under Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Trying the app without a ride of your own
Download a sample ride (a synthetic 30-minute climb), save it to Files, and choose it from Add a ride.
